A girl named Hitomi is sucked into a world where the Earth can be seen in the sky.
She meets a boy named Vaughn Finnel, the prince of Finnelia. His kingdom is attacked by an
invisible enemy. Throughout the series they are on the run from the Zaibach Empire who destroyed
Vaughn's homeland. They are after his legendary guymelef, the Escalfowne.
